Intern Introductions: Isidora Dickstein

2/3/2025 –

My name is Isidora and I’m from the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. I’m thrilled to be joining Vermont Adaptive as an intern at Sugarbush Resort this year. My love for the mountains and being outside started at a young age. I hiked all of the New Hampshire 48 4000-footers by the time I was just eight-years-old. This summer, I worked at a mountain biking camp for middle school students and got the amazing chance to continue my season with Vermont Adaptive this past fall. In my free time, I love hiking, skiing/skinning, and attending concerts.

I’m currently a senior at the University of Vermont and pursuing a B.S. in psychological science. At UVM, I’m a member of the UVM Alpine Ski Racing Club team, and this semester I am working towards earning my EMT certification. I’m especially passionate about the intersection of mental health and adaptive sports, which is why I’m super excited to be completing my senior capstone project in partnership with Vermont Adaptive. Being able to contribute to a community that values inclusivity and outdoor recreation is very important to me.

I’m looking forward to learning from the experienced staff and volunteers at Vermont Adaptive, connecting with participants, helping out with lessons, and being part of this amazing community. I’m excited to continue ski season and make the most of this opportunity!”
