Intern Introductions: Ethan Harvey

1/27/2025 –

Meet Ethan Harvey. This is his first year as an intern with Vermont Adaptive at Bolton Valley Resort. He is combining his passion for outdoor sports with his commitment to community service. A recent graduate of Skidmore College, Ethan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Business. Throughout his academic journey, he demonstrated a strong dedication to social impact, participating in a pro bono consulting practicum that involved working with a local nonprofit organization in upstate New York. This experience sparked his desire to pursue a career focused on supporting and empowering nonprofit organizations.

Originally from Shelburne, Vermont, Ethan has been skiing at Bolton Valley for as long as he can remember, fostering a deep connection to the area and its outdoor recreation opportunities. This lifelong love for skiing and the outdoors has been a driving force behind his involvement with various community initiatives. He has volunteered at Special Olympics events, raised funds for the Penguin Plunge, and was an active participant as a partner on his high school’s Unified Basketball team. These experiences have reinforced his belief in the power of sports and outdoor activities to bring people together and create lasting positive change.

With his academic background and a heart dedicated to serving others, Ethan is excited to contribute to Vermont Adaptive’s mission of providing inclusive and accessible sports opportunities for individuals of all abilities. He looks forward to applying his skills and experiences in business management and nonprofit work while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the adaptive sports community.
