YOU did it! You helped us reach and secure the collective matching gift of $100,000 – AND MORE – raising a total of $229,811 for Vermont Adaptive’s programs and athletes—thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
We’re so close to hitting our $250,000 goal. If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, it’s not too late! Every little bit helps, and together we can close the gap.
This community never ceases to amaze us. Nearly 250 of you—friends, volunteers, participants, parents, and supporters—came together this #GivingTuesday to make a huge impact. Your generosity keeps our programs going strong, fuels our scholarships, and helps maintain all the gear and equipment that make adaptive sports possible year-round.
From all of us at Vermont Adaptive, we’re beyond grateful for your support—it means everything to us and to the athletes we serve. Here’s to a snowy, adventure-filled winter and an amazing holiday season!
Sending you gratitude, fresh air and good vibes!

About #GivingTuesday
Each year Vermont Adaptive participates in the global initiative known as Giving Tuesday. Annually, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is a global day dedicated to giving back. #GivingTuesday follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday with the goal of celebrating generosity and encouraging people to give during the holiday season. It was created to inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes that they support and help create a better world.
#GivingTuesday harnesses the power of social media to create a national moment around the holidays dedicated to giving, similar to how Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are, today, synonymous with holiday shopping. Your donations during this time help us to continue to provide year-round sports and recreation for people with disabilities. Thank you!

HUGE thanks to the Turtle Ridge Foundation for their $50,000 matching gift and to another collective $50,000 matching gift from Lisa Watson & Michael Krupka, Dave & Melissa Baker, and the Kimpton Family Fund.
For more than 37 years, Vermont Adaptive has been providing continued programming, lessons and access to state-of-the-art adaptive equipment, but offering these programs takes resources – we must raise more than $410,000 from individuals like you for 2025 programs and operations. We are off to a great start thanks to YOU!
Without you, we can’t share the passion for sports and recreation with others. Thank you for supporting our programs and mission
