Vermont Adaptive is grateful for and gives tremendous thanks to Lisa Watson & Michael Krupka, Dave & Melissa Baker, and the Kimpton Family Fund, who have collectively pledged a matching gift of $50,000 for #GivingTuesday2024. That means your donation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000.
In 2025 we must raise $410,000 from individuals just like you. These critical funds support athlete scholarships, expensive adaptive equipment and overall operations so that everyBODY enjoys the outdoors all year long! Your donation during #GivingTuesday will give us the headstart we need to meeting those needs for this coming year.
About #GivingTuesday
Each year Vermont Adaptive participates in the global initiative known as Giving Tuesday. Annually, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is a global day dedicated to giving back. #GivingTuesday follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday with the goal of celebrating generosity and encouraging people to give during the holiday season. It was created to inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes that they support and help create a better world.
#GivingTuesday harnesses the power of social media to create a national moment around the holidays dedicated to giving, similar to how Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are, today, synonymous with holiday shopping. Your donations during this time help us to continue to provide year-round sports and recreation for people with disabilities. Thank you!
