This year, Vermont Adaptive will harness the generosity from The Sills Family Foundation, Vermont Adaptive’s Board of Directors, The Kimpton Family Fund, and an anonymous donor, who collectively pledged a matching gift of $30,000 for #GivingTuesday. That means your donation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $30,000. Did you know that in 2021 we must raise $350,000 for our programs, scholarships and expensive equipment? Help us raise 50% of this goal by Jan. 1 by giving on #GivingTuesday2020. We serve people with any type of disability and that includes not only physical disabilities but also developmental, cognitive and emotional/behavioral disabilities. All ages. All abilities. Monies raised will help to fund expensive adaptive equipment, train volunteer instructors and to provide scholarships for lessons and outings. It’s a wonderful way for people to pay it forward and spread the holiday cheer. The Tuesday after Thanksgiving (this year Dec. 1) is a global day dedicated to giving back. In addition to its fundraising goals, Vermont Adaptive is also about the support that comes from what can be given other than money, including time, talent, food, skills, love, and thanks. We need YOU to help us continue to safely support our community during this difficult time.
