A Word from Jenn Rand, Director of Development

Happy New Year! A bit too early? Not at Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports!

Vermont Adaptive’s fiscal year began on Nov. 1, and this year more than ever we are excited to say goodbye to 2020 and to begin 2021 with a fresh outlook and grateful hearts.

The global pandemic has changed how we offer programs right now. But we have adapted. Afterall, that’s what we do! Our mission to provide access to sports and recreation for people of all abilities is more important than ever. Today, you can help keep the outdoors accessible and fun for everyone.

“It has been a challenge to find meaningful sports and exercise opportunities for Natalie during the lock-down. We now have a greater appreciation for Vermont Adaptive and all they do for people with disabilities and our veterans. The sports and recreation opportunities they provide are critical to their wellbeing and allow those with challenges to reach their full potential.”

-Julie & Dan Latham, parents of an athlete

Your gift will help provide opportunities to your fellow athletes who love the outdoors as much as you do. Please help us raise $200,000 in critical funds for our programs this year. We are facing our most costly winter season to date because the incurred program cost per athlete has more than doubled, due to the Covid-19 related adaptations that we continue to make to keep our athletes, volunteers and staff safe. However, we remain committed to providing programs regardless of one’s ability to pay. This is only made possible through the generous support of people like you!

Your gift to the Annual Fund will ensure that no one will ever be turned away from sports and recreation.

Please – give as much as you can today. It will make all the difference. We are truly grateful for your support. Here’s to a new year full of adventure for EVERY body!

Be well,

Jenn Rand
Director of Development
