SEASONAL ACTIVITIES > WINTER PROGRAMS > Skiing & Snowboarding
Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports started as a small ski program in southeastern Vermont in 1987. Since then our Snowsports program has grown to be the largest in the State, currently offering skiing and snowboarding at Pico Mountain, Sugarbush Resort and Bolton Valley. We also assist other resorts to help make accomodations when possible.
We offer lessons to individuals of all ages with any disability seven days a week during the ski season. The season generally runs from December 26th until the first week in April.
Lessons are by reservation, offered in morning, afternoon or full-day sessions and include private instruction, lift ticket and any adaptive equipment required. Bolton Valley has evening sessions by special arrangement.
We maintain an up-to-date inventory of adaptive equipment to fit your needs. We offer exciting opportunities for skiers of all levels from “never evers” to experts.
Other winter programs include: Indoor Rock Climbing, Snowshoeing, Cross Country Skiing and Dog Sledding. Please call for pricing and more information.
Students may book lessons as individuals or as part of a group. Family members or friends of VASS students are invited to participate and, if interested, can learn the adaptation needed to help their skier achieve as much independence as possible.
